New Delhi, May 21 (IANS) Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor says she believes in astrology and has checked her zodiac compatibility “many times.”

During the press conference for her upcoming film ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, Janhvi was asked if she believed in astrology, considering that her character Mahima’s “kundali” is matched for an arranged marriage.

Janhvi told media: “I think we all have checked our zodiac compatibility. I have done it so many times. I do believe in astrology a lot but not to the extent where I stop talking to a person just because my zodiac sign doesn’t match!”

‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ also stars Rajkummar Rao and is slated to hit the screens on 31. She then has ‘Devara: Chapter 1’ with star Jr NTR releasing.

She revealed that her character Thangam in the film is interesting.

The actress added: “I love working on a film set where people do their work with love. The passion these guys have is amazing and their storytelling is beautiful. With conviction they showcase each character, it is very different. I am very lucky to get a chance to work (in the film with Jr NTR).”

Mumbai, May 21 (IANS) Actor Rishi Saxena, who is all geared up for his upcoming film ‘Malhar’ shared that he is playing an asexual romantic in the movie, saying how it took some time for him to understand what it is.

Known for his roles in ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’, ‘Saavi Ki Savaari’, Rishi talking about his role in the film, saying: “So, I’m playing the role of Lakshman, and he’s a very shy person who speaks less. Throughout the film, he doesn’t say a lot, and a lot is going on with him, but whatever is happening with him, we get to know about it in the end. He’s a very dedicated husband and a loving son.”

Regarding the preparations and challenges he faced, Rishi added: “This character I’m playing is an asexual romantic, so it took some time to understand what it is. What was going on in his mind was more internal than external. It was not to be played externally. But internally, understanding it and whatever the lines are, to say them in that context, to understand them in that context, was the most important thing, and that was the biggest challenge.”

Written and directed by Vishal Kumbhar and produced by Praful Pasad, the film also stars Sharib Hashmi, Anjali Patil, Vinayak Potdar, Shrinivas Pokale, Mohammad Samad, and Akshata Acharya in pivotal roles.

‘Malhar’ is set to release in theatres on May 31.

Mumbai, May 21 (IANS) Actress Naila Grrewal, who shares the screen with Rohit Saraf in the upcoming rom-com ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’, has revealed that Rohit is quite moody, and has an “on-off switch”.

The actress launched the title track of the song along with her co-actors Rohit, Pashmina Roshan and Jibraan Khan at a multiplex in the Juhu area of Mumbai on Tuesday.

Talking to the media, she said, “Rohit has an on-off switch, and I realised it quite late. With Pashmina and Jibran, I clicked instantly but with Rohit, it took some time”.

To this, Rohit said in jest that the actress is projecting it as he has extreme mood swings, as he burst out laughing.

Naila responded in the comic vein saying, “Yeah but now, I’ve forgiven you”.

‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’, directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, is produced by Ramesh Taurani & Jaya Taurani.

The film is set to arrive in cinemas on June 21.

Mumbai, May 21 (IANS) Actress Rinku Dhawan, who is now a part of ‘Udaariyaan’ has opened up on playing stepmother to the lead actor Avinesh Rekhi, adding that being a part of the show will add a star to her career.

Rinku, who was last seen in ‘Bigg Boss 17’, said: “It’s been a long-running and successful show, and being a part of it will add a star to my career for sure. I wanted to be a part of it, and I am so grateful that I got the opportunity. My role is that of a stepmother to the lead – Avinesh Rekhi.”

“She’s a bit of a selfish woman who wants things only for herself and her kids, by manipulating, utilising and misusing another person through their emotions. My look is that of a Punjabi kudi,” she added.

The show is taking a 15-year leap, and the new episodes will air from May 30. It will feature Avinesh, Aditi Bhagat, and Shreya Jain in lead roles.

Mumbai, May 21 (IANS) Actor Karan Vohra has reflected upon his off-screen camaraderie with his ‘Main Hoon Saath Tere’s six-year-old co-star Nihan Jain, sharing how the latter turns into his ‘dumbbell’.

Nihan, who plays Kian in the show, enjoys Karan’s company and often spends most of his time in Karan’s makeup room.

Speaking about their bond, Karan, who plays Aryaman said: “Shooting with Nihan has been a lot of fun since the first day of shoot, and I must say that he is a very jolly kid, and we have bonded well in the last couple of months. I love playing with him, and we spend so much time together that he has become my buddy. Just like our on-screen bond, our off-screen bond is also like friends.”

“And now I can say this with confidence, that he has become my dumbbell friend. In between shots whenever we both get time, he holds and hangs on my arms, and I sway him up and down as if I am doing bicep curls. He enjoys the process thoroughly, in fact, it has become a game for him, and a fun fitness session for me,” added Karan.

The show revolves around Janvi (Ulka Gupta) and her son, Kian (Nihan). In the recent episodes, viewers watched how Janvi is struggling to raise her son, and on the other hand, Kian has started to share a great bond with Aryaman (Karan) and calls him his ‘hero’.
