In 2022, on November 11th, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be unveiled. Tenoch Huerta is depicted in a new photo dressed as Namor.

The new cover of Empire Magazine displays a Mesoamerican-inspired version of the Marvel Comics character Namor. In the books, Namor rules over the fictional kingdom of Atlantis, but in the movie adaptation, he rules over the more historically accurate and culturally relevant kingdom of Talocan.

Huerta talked to Empire on how Namor and his people were affected by T’Challa’s decision to reveal Wakanda’s existence.

This ruling, Huerta says, poses a danger to Talocan. “Talocan needs to take precautions.” Huerta has confirmed that Namor will be a mutant in the upcoming film.

After King T’Challa’s death, Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight against global powers. To pave a new way forward for Wakanda, the heroes will need to collaborate with War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross.
